At this point, the Linux install process can proceed. As is reflected in the Redhat Enterprise Linux Best

Practices guide, it is recommended to configure multipath boot from SAN during the installation process.

Using the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 installer as an example, only two configuration steps are required to

instruct the installer to configure multipath boot from SAN. The “Specialized Storage” menu exposes the

multipath object as an installation target for further partitioning and file system layout as shown below.
